Judith Eva Barsi (June 6, 1978 – July 25, 1988)
She began her career in television, making appearances in commercials and in television shows, and later appeared in the films Jaws: The Revenge, The Land Before Time, and All Dogs Go to Heaven, supplying some of the animated voices in the latter two. By the time she entered fourth grade, Judith was earning an estimated $100,000 a year, which helped her family buy a three-bedroom house in West Hills, Los Angeles. Sadly, her father József was an alcoholic, who became increasingly abusive, jealous and paranoid, and would routinely threaten to kill himself, his wife, and daughter. On one occasion, Judith broke down on the set of All Dogs Go to Heaven and the case was sent to Child Protective Services, but no further action was taken. On the evening of July 25, 1988, József shot Judith in the head while she was sleeping in her room, then shot her mother Maria. He later set fire to their bodies, before killing himself. Judith Barsi, and Maria, are buried at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills.
